We're gearing up for an AWESOME AUGUST - check out all the events we have planned for you this month as well as some changes to class gear up times to avoid congestion at Rolla Skate Club.

*IMPORTANT: Changes to Class Gear Up Times*

In order to help with class flow and avoid congestion in the gear up area, starting August 1st please arrive at least 10 minutes BEFORE your scheduled class time on ZP to gear up.

Classes will now be running back to back, so once the previous class has ended (and yours has started) please vacate the benches asap and finish gearing up in the center of skating area if needed.

If you need more than 10 minutes to gear up - come earlier!
Masks Update - Staying for August

Our number one priority this year has been to keep the beautiful people of Rolla safe. So we're asking our members to continue wearing masks during our indoor classes for the month of August.

We have two HUGE new fans to keep you cool and please feel free to step outside to take breaks if needed. And bring lots of water!
Waitlist Reminder

If a class is full - add yourself to the waitlist! We get a lot of day-of cancels so there is a good chance you will get a spot in the class :-)

Keep an eye on your phone for your text alert that you have a spot!

August Social Roll - Friday, August 6th
6pm meet at Science World. Make sure you join the Rolla Skate Club Vancouver Facebook Group to stay in the loop.

Rolla Street Jam - Saturday August 14th
We're joining forces with the Off Main Festival for an afternoon of outdoor skating right outside our friend's Rollergirl.ca. No rentals available for this event but we'll have some funky tunes and fun summer vibes!

Live Virtual Class w. Skate Fantacee - Friday August 20th
Join us on Zoom and learn rink moves from the amazing Skate Fantacee @skatefantacee live from Atlanta. Mark your calendars - you don't want to miss this! 5pm PST. Head to Rolla Connect for more info.

Rolla Gang Picnic - Tuesday August 24th
Join us for an evening of skating, chilling, tunes and re-connecting with the Rolla Community at beautiful Sunset Beach. More details coming soon.

Rolla Derby is back!! You should join!!
New on Thursday nights - Derby Skills Club for All Levels! A weekly class for drills, skills, and scrimmage in a fun, social environment. Contact is being slowly re-introduced through the next couple of weeks. We'll have two coaches and may split the group based on Skill level for certain drills/skills.
If you’ve played some flat track derby or completed a "fresh meat" boot camp elsewhere, we’d love to have you join us!

If you're a newer skater who wants to get started and you're confident skating, stopping, and turning around you can come check it out.
